Peter Bancroft


Peter Bancroft is a Partner at Recast Partners where he is responsible for North-Western Europe and North America as well as development of the firm’s Commercial Strategy and Sales Management services. He has 15 years of experience in helping Blue-chip and private equity owned companies deliver profitable growth, both as a sales leader and as an external Consultant.

Before starting Recast Partners he spent five years as a Case Team Leader with Bain & Company followed by fast growth and turnaround Sales roles as COO and Head of European Account Management with The Warranty Group, Vice President Commercial Operations with AlphaSights and Partner at InnerSquare. Peter has a BSc (Hons) in IT, Business Management and Languages from the Department of Computer Science of the University of York.

When not at a client site, Peter is a keen traveller, having visited a majority of UN member states. He is also a PADI Open Water Diving Instructor and is at his happiest when he can combine travel advice to clients at the same time as driving sales & marketing-led growth.

Ulrike Hausmann


Ulrike Hausmann is a Partner at Recast Partners where she is responsible for Germany and Continental Europe as well as development of the firm’s marketing and digital transformation services. She has 30 years experience in helping B2B companies harness technology and up to date ways of working to drive sales and marketing led growth.

Following an early career in programming, she managed a series of complex CRM deployments in Europe and the United States. Twelve years deploying CRM at Linotype, Heidelberg USA and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen provided a solid background before moving to Trumpf Werkzeugmaschinen as Head of Marketing and CRM where she professionalized the product management, redesigned customer pricing and led a CRM roll-out to subsidiaries across Europe. Ulrike subsequently developed expertise across the full range of Executive Management functions in companies undergoing significant change including as President of the Georg Kohl Gruppe, Director of Sales and Marketing and Janoschka Holding, Interim CFO at DMA Innotec and Restructuring Director at Atrikom Fulfillment.

Ulrike is passionate about training, coaching and teaching. She currently teaches an MBA course on Customer Relationship Management at SPORTBUSINESS Campus and was previously a Lecturer on the LLM course at the University of Heidelberg and the BA course at the University of Heilbronn. She has an Executive MBA from Kennesaw State University in the United States.


Daniel Axsäter


Daniel Axsäter is an Advisor to Recast Partners on sales & marketing technology as well as helping to scope and deliver development projects. He is a Managing Director at Stored, a cloud self-storage company based in London, where he is responsible for investor relations, technology development and the day to day running of the company’s three European and Asian offices. He is also a Director at GTech Ventures, a software development offshoring company that provides low-cost first-class tech talent, with offices across Europe and Asia. Daniel has over 20 years experience in IT and has started numerous successful technology ventures.

Before starting Stored he spent five years at his previous start-up CronLab where he is still the Chairman of the Board. CronLab provides web-filtering services by way of OEM and their technology is used by millions of people around the world. Prior to CronLab, Daniel worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company in Copenhagen and before this he held a number of positions with GE Capital around Europe. Daniel has a MSc in Computer Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology and has also studied at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

When not working on his technology ventures Daniel enjoys travelling the world with his young family.
